5.1. Methodological overview

The subject has a theoretical dimension and practical. The methodology combines, on the one hand, the theoretical and practical teaching based on the model cases, exhibition and debate by the students and, on the other, the system of guided and independent work by students that takes place outside of the classroom (practices and questionnaires).

5.2. Learning tasks

TEACHING activities:


-Practical sessions.
-Study of cases.
-Discussions.
-Analysis of documents, especially sentences.
-Lectures of invited specialists.
-Presentation of individual works.
-Knowledge test.
-Individual and group tutoring.
-Guided visit to public institutions.

 

SELF-study:

-teaching network: students will have at their disposal in the MOODLE platform different materials, such as complementary texts, notes, diagrams, practical cases, sentences, legal standards, news today, activity guides, calendar, etc.
Is looking for the student to participate actively using the "Foro of doubts and consultas" as a space for study and debate. "

-Practices and non-Presential tests: eventually, the teacher may ask students the resolution of practical cases through the MOODLE platform whose qualification will be part of the portfolio.

5.3. Syllabus

1. The State and the division of powers. Legal system. Private law. Civil law.
2. The rule of law. Sources of the law.
3. Subjects of rights (I): the natural person. Concept. Legal personality. Rights of personality. Age. Incapacitation. Nationality and civilian neighbourhood. Domicile. Absence and death. The Civil Registry.
4. Subjects of rights (II): the natural person. The legal regime of marriage. Heritage.
5. Subjects of rights (III): Legal entities. Associations and foundations.
6. The subjective rights and civil law heritage (I): rights, duties, and obligations. Civil liability. The representation.
7. The subjective rights and civil law heritage (II): contracts and legal behaviors.
8. Basic contractual types: purchase contract. Donation contract. Lease agreement. Financial renting. Contract for hire and service. Deposit agreement. Mutual agreement. Security Bond.
9. The subjective rights and civil law heritage (III): property rights and civil and comercial obligations. The Immovable Property Rights Register.

5.4. Course planning and calendar

The course Introduction to the right is half-yearly and includes 60 hours in face-to-face sessions per group, whose planning will inform students via the MOODLE platform of the subject.
The calendar of sessions will be made public by the School of Tourism. The final date for the delivery of documents shall be communicated by the teacher through the Moodle platform.
